The BC Biotech Network is proud to host a Celebration for International Women in Science Day on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 6–8 PM at the Earls Yaletown Loft (2nd Floor). This event honors the contributions of underrepresented and marginalized voices in STEM and provides early-career researchers and trainees with opportunities to grow their professional networks. Highlights include a short keynote from Kathryn Hayashi, former CEO of TRIUMF Innovations and founding CFO of adMare Bioinnovations, and a celebration of the Order of the White Rose, a memorial award recognizing the 14 young women engineers tragically killed in a gender-based act of violence on December 6, 1989, and those advancing women in science and engineering today.

The evening will also include light refreshments and one drink ticket. This event is generously sponsored by Acuitas Therapeutics and the UBC School of Biomedical Engineering. Tickets are limited, so register early!
